What makes you different to other wedding photographers?

We are multi award winning wedding photographers (with 40 plus awards in the last five years), renowned throughout Yorkshire for our creative and individual approach to wedding photography. Our signature images give the wow factor that will make your wedding album stand out from the rest.

Do I really need more than one photographer?

Yes in our opinion it's essential for today's style of wedding photography to capture the most from the day's proceedings and all those special details you've taken the time to choose.

Will we need to meet before the wedding?

Personally we prefer to meet our wedding clients when they book our services - to ensure that we are all on the same wavelength. It also enables you to take full advantage of the unlimited consultations we offer and an opportunity to appreciate the full extent of our talents by viewing our work up close. However we have taken a booking from clients in Australia, after mum met us at a wedding fair! We also offer you a complimentary pre-wedding shoot that can be arranged anytime up to a month before the wedding.

Where are you located, and are you willing to travel?

We are located in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire and are familiar with most venues in the region. Weddings beyond a 50 mile radius will incur basic travel costs. Should an overnight stay be considered necessary this will be charged at cost. For overseas weddings please enquire for rates. We often have wedding clients who come from all areas of the UK and beyond to be married in Yorkshire. Please be assured that this does not pose any problems regarding communication and delivery of albums etc.

What equipment do you use?

Naturally we shoot using professional digital cameras. As well as the superb quality it also gives us more flexibility and allows us to shoot in the more difficult lighting situations, i.e. a dark church. We also carry with us back-up cameras and other equipment just in case of any mishaps or malfunctions. Remember though that it's the talent and knowledge of the person behind the camera that really counts.

How many photographs will be taken on the day?

An unlimited number of photographs will be taken - whilst there is an opportunity we will carry on shooting. The final numbers will depend on the size of the wedding, the locations chosen, the weather and the level of coverage chosen.

Will you take formal or family groups as well as candid?

Of course, if you wish we'll direct and compose some friends & family shots in a speedy but relaxed & informal manner.

Do we get to keep a record of all the pictures?

Yes - you get to keep a preview DVD of all pictures taken on the day after editing for blinks, duplicates etc. High resolution discs and DVD slideshows are also available to purchase.

Will our wedding guests be able to view or order the photographs?

Yes - in addition to the DVD given to you, your wedding pictures will be placed in a secure password protected gallery in the client area of our website. Photographs may be viewed and purchased by any guest given the password. We'll even arrange 'viewing cards' to be given to guests with details if you require. All ordered images will be individually processed, retouched by hand and professionally printed to ensure the best possible results.

Who chooses the photographs for the album?

It's totally your choice, but we are more than happy to guide and advise you through the process as there are usually so many fantastic images to choose from.

What type of albums do you offer?

You may choose from a selection of Italian designed albums in either traditional style (with mounted photographs) or magazine style (often referred to as Storybook Albums). Both offer superb quality and contain images which have been individually processed and retouched by hand ensuring the best possible results. If you choose one of our popular album packages with art pictures this will make your album truly unique.

How do we book you?

A booking fee of £350 is payable to secure your day, usually after initial consultation(s), and a booking contract is completed. Please note as we can receive numerous enquires for certain dates, particularly in summer, we are unable to provisionally hold any date without payment of the booking fee.
